Share
The Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings – Individual Measures (BEG EM) supports the installation of heat pumps, heat storage systems, and photovoltaic systems. Since January 1, 2024, subsidies for heating system replacement, including heat pumps, have been administered through KfW. The funding includes:
- Basic funding: 30% of eligible costs.
- Climate bonus: Additional 20% for replacing old fossil heating systems by the end of 2028.
- Income bonus: An additional 30% for a taxable household income of up to 40,000 euros.
The maximum funding is 70% of the eligible costs, capped at 30,000 euros per housing unit.
